About Sarah
Sarah started playing the violin at the age of 7 and was one of the first young musicians to gain a scholarship from the Kent Music School. She went on to study both violin and viola at Trinity College of Music in London where she was awarded numerous prizes including The John Barbirolli Prize for String Quartet Playing, The Leonard Smith Prize for Violin and Piano, The Alfred Gibson Memorial Prize and came joint first in The Sophie Langdon Competition for a Classical Concerto.
Sarah has made a name for herself as both an orchestral and chamber musician. Having moved around the South of England she has freelanced with a variety of professional orchestras including the Bournemouth Sinfonietta, The Mantovani Orchestra, Docklands Sinfonia, Westminster Chamber Orchestra and the Bristol Ensemble. She has also travelled the world playing chamber music on cruise ships and now regularly gives concerts with Quattro String Quartet and Blue Sky String Girls.
Sarah regularly plays with several groups providing music for weddings and events as well as the ever popular Candlelight concerts.
Sarah also plays the electric 5 string violin. Performing with various groups including the leading ELO tribute band, ELO Encounter.
Sarah is passionate about music and is a versatile performer. Her utter professionalism stands her in good stead and her vast experience and particular skill for fitting in at the last minute means that she can always be relied upon. Sarah has worked in both the classical and pop worlds and is equally at home in both.
Solo Violin
No matter what your event, from weddings and private parties to corporate events, Sarah will work with you to enhance your day and create the perfect atmosphere. As a professional solo wedding and event violinist with top quality backing tracks, Sarah is able to perform at most venues, the only requirements are for it to be dry, not too windy and shade on very hot sunny days, so for outside events cover may be required. Sarah is very happy to work with you to provide exactly what you want in order for your special day to be perfect.

Is a trio consisting of Violin, Viola and Cello. Whilst a string quartet might be the “gold standard”, our trio gives you a sleek and intimate alternative. We play bespoke arrangements, which have been crafted for three, so they sound perfect.
